Taiwan Mountain Identification - AR Mountain Recognition Tool is an Android application designed for hikers and mountain climbers. It includes more than 4,000 mountain peaks, from the 100 famous mountains to the suburban hills. The app uses high-precision grid numerical terrain data to draw the mountain ranges with near-realistic contours. It is very intuitive to use, and you can adjust the direction and angle by dragging the screen. The app doesn't require an internet connection, so it can be used offline.

The professional version of the app offers several features, such as taking photos along with the mountain name and contour, removing ads, displaying the altitude of the mountain peaks, marking the famous mountains and minor mountains with different colors, showing more mountain peak information, and customizing GPS coordinates to view the mountains from different angles. However, note that the app uses image recognition to determine the phone's rotation angle. If the texture of the camera screen is unclear or the landscape is moving too fast, the app may not recognize the angle, leading to screen jumping or stopping. For safety, please stand in a stationary position while using the app and do not walk while looking at the screen.
